Chrisantus Uche will not debut tonight when the Super Eagles of Nigeria take on the Ghana Black Stars in the opening fixture of the Unity Cup.
The midfielder received his first invitation to the national team after a brilliant season with Getafe in the Spanish La Liga.
Uche contributed four goals and six assists as he helped Getafe to a 13th-place finish in the League, and he also made the team of the week selection a couple of times.
However, Chrisantus Uche will not make his debut for the Super Eagles tonight as the player failed to report to the team’s camp in London.

Super Eagles manager, Eric Chelle, has reportedly axed the midfielder from his team as a result.
A source in the team’s camp reports that 22-year-old Versatile midfielder is yet to arrive as of Tuesday night the team rounded off preparations for their first match.
Nigeria will take on Jamaica in the final of the Unity Cup on Saturday if they beat Ghana tonight at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The Unity Cup, an Afro-Caribbean tournament, makes a return 21 years after its maiden edition as Nigeria looks to defend its title.
Meanwhile, Chrisantus Uche has been linked with a move away from Getafe ahead of the summer transfer window.
Premier League side Brentford and Atletico Madrid are among the clubs reportedly interested in the services of the midfielder.
Reports suggest that Getafe are not willing to sell for less than €20 million.
