Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has sparked reactions online after being spotted shopping for clothes at a roadside stall in Lagos.
A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday showed the 29-year-old Beşiktaş midfielder browsing through garments displayed on a rack beneath a makeshift canopy.
Ndidi, dressed in a black sleeveless top, light-coloured trousers, a red cap and slides, was seen examining the clothes while holding a black shopping bag.
The scene, associated with Lagos’s popular ‘bend-down select’ markets, attracted attention from fans, with some expressing amusement at the footballer’s choice of shopping destination.
Ndidi, who was born and raised in Lagos, began his professional career in Europe with Belgian club Genk before joining Leicester City in 2017. He spent eight seasons at the English club before moving to Turkish side Beşiktaş in 2025.
The midfielder currently captains Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles.
The video emerged weeks after Ndidi launched his lifestyle brand, DIIDS, which specialises in underwear and everyday essentials for men and women.
