The veteran midfielder has been out of the Super Falcons fold for several years focusing on her professional career.

Okobi and her spouse, Ahmed Okeoghene, welcomed their first child together.

The happy mother announced the birth of her child on Instagram, adding, “Congratulations to me#godbepraised#iamamother #newmom#canadianbaby.”

In 2017, Okobi, a player for the Spanish team Levante Las Planas, wed her real estate agent partner Ahmed Okeoghene.

They have been together for seven years as Okobi continued to advance in her professional career.
