The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup’s Round of 16 is loaded with thrilling fixtures, and the boys have been separated from the men.
Here are five games you can’t afford to miss in the round of 16.

Manchester City vs. Al Hilal

A blockbuster clash. Manchester City, led by Pep Guardiola, dominated Group G (3-0-0, 13:2 goals), with Erling Haaland in top form.
Al Hilal, with stars like João Cancelo and Rúben Neves, drew 1-1 with Real Madrid. They might be underdogs, but this should be a thrilling game.

Real Madrid vs. Juventus

This should be another thrilling game between two European powerhouses.
Real Madrid, under Xabi Alonso, showed grit, beating Pachuca 3-1 despite a red card. Juventus will be looking to bounce back from the humiliating 5-2 loss to City, and will be eager to claim a huge morale-booster.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Miami

Lionel Messi will face his former club PSG in a tasty round of 16 clash, and for the first time in his career, the Argentine legend is a huge underdog.
PSG have become the best team in the world, and are coming off a treble triumph. However, their 1-0 defeat to Botafogo in the group stage showed that anything is possible in this competition.

Benfica vs Chelsea

This is one clash that could go either way, between two inconsistent teams, who can excite and frustrate in equal measure.
Chelsea may be slight favourites, but no one can write off Benfica, who have the evergreen Angel Di Maria, still pulling the strings. Expect an exciting, evenly matched affair.
Flamengo vs. Bayern Munich
South American flair meets European power. Flamengo topped Group D despite a 3-1 loss to Chelsea, and got better as the tournament progressed.
Bayern crushed Auckland City 10-0 to start the tournament and have Michael Olise, who has been the tournament’s best player.
This one promises goals, and anything can happen.
