Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle said his team must improve in every game following the nervy win over Tunisia in Fes on Saturday night.
The Super Eagles qualified for the round of 16 of the competition after a 3-2 win over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
Nigeria led 3-0 until the 75th minute before the 2004 Champions woke up from their slumber to attempt a comeback.
While speaking to the media in a post-match conference, the 49-year-old Franco-Malian admitted that the Super Eagles did some good things and otherwise leaving fans on the edge of their seats towards the tail-end of the tie.
“I’m happy we won… We did some good things and we did some bad things too… We have to continue improving in every game…”
The win over Tunisia sealed Nigeria’s place in the next round of the competition as they seat top of Group C with six points after two matches.
Nigeria will take on Uganda in their final group match on Tuesday as they look to finish with nine points just like they did at the 2021 editiosun of the competition i8n Cameroon. S
