Nigeria’s quest to win a fourth Africa Cup of Nations title came to an end on Wednesday night after losing to host Morocco on penalties in the semi-final.
The Atlas Lions edged the Super Eagles 4-2 on penalties after the heavyweight clash ended in a stalemate after 129 minutes of action.
Bruno Onyemaechi and Samuel Chukwueze missed their spot kicks while Paul Onuachu and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru converted theirs.
